Cerakote is the world leader in thin film ceramic coating technology, the base finish can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formula can enhance performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness. The ceramic component creates a hard surface that can enhance the physical quality of your gun.
Cerakote allows you to personalise your gun to however you want it to look, from a flag design of your choice to solid colour or camouflage we can give you the look you want – if you have a set of firearms it may be worth considering matching them up. To complete the process your firearm will need to be totally disassembled, the frame will then be sandblasted so the coating will adhere to it, coated as per customers chosen design and the oven cured. The advantage of using Cerakote is that the material has a good degree of lubricity, it acts as a lubricant once the finish has been applied, users have found they need to use a lot less lubricant once their guns have been coated. Cerakote also attracts less dust, keeping your gun cleaner and in good working order, finally, it is also an effective barrier against oxidation and corrosion.
